You will join the Sales team as a Senior Account Executive focused on the maritime sector, responsible for new business development in the Southeastern United States. This is a hunter role where you will own 70%+ of your own pipeline generation through outbound prospecting. You will identify and pursue new logos, manage complex buying committees, and close deals ranging from $50K to $250K in annual recurring revenue (ARR).
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving new business acquisition through proactive outbound prospecting and lead generation
- Building and managing a robust sales pipeline with a focus on maritime and shipping logistics clients
- Navigating and closing deals with complex organizational buying committees
- Consistently meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual quota targets
- Leveraging Kpler's cutting-edge data and analytics platform to articulate value to prospects
- Developing deep relationships with key decision-makers in the maritime industry
This role is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional with a track record of success in enterprise or mid-market SaaS sales, particularly in B2B analytics or data intelligence. You should be comfortable with high-activity prospecting, comfortable with rejection, and driven by the challenge of opening new accounts. Experience in maritime, shipping, logistics, or commodities sectors is a plus but not required if you have strong SaaS sales fundamentals.
