Qualtrics is seeking an Account Executive for Life Sciences to drive revenue growth in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and broader life sciences sector. This is a greenfield opportunity to establish strategic territories and shape go-to-market strategy for Experience Management (XM) solutions within a high-priority vertical.
You will quarterback cross-functional teams including Industry Scientists, Engineers, and Operations Experts to structure and close complex enterprise deals. Success requires moving beyond feature-function selling to align Qualtrics' XM platform with C-level priorities such as clinical trial retention, patient adherence, and field force effectiveness.
Key responsibilities include acquiring new strategic logos and expanding within existing Global 2000 Life Sciences accounts, cultivating trusted advisor relationships with C-suite executives, and leading complex multi-year enterprise negotiations. You'll act as the voice of the customer back to Product teams, directly influencing platform development for the Life Sciences sector.
You will develop deep knowledge of Qualtrics' solution offerings, maintain positive cross-functional relationships internally, and apply sales methodologies (MEDDIC/MEDDPICC) to forecast accurately and build a 4x pipeline.
Required: Bachelor's degree, validated track record of exceeding quotas in a closing role (President's Club, Top 10% rankings), 3+ years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience with familiarity of sales methodologies and Salesforce, and intellectual curiosity about the regulatory and commercial context of Life Sciences. Preferred: prior Life Sciences or healthcare industry experience, existing relationships in the sector, and experience selling complex enterprise platforms.
