Vanta is seeking a Founding Account Executive to launch and build its downmarket business across Latin America. This is a ground-floor opportunity to establish Vanta's presence in Spanish-speaking markets (Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile) and shape the go-to-market strategy from the ground up.
You will own the complete sales cycle for downmarket accounts (0–400 employees), balancing high-velocity self-sourced opportunities with more complex deals. Working closely with a dedicated SDR, you'll build and execute outbound prospecting strategies, convert inbound demand, and drive the majority of pipeline through independent outbound efforts. You'll define customer-specific value propositions, create sales materials, deliver demos in Spanish, and contribute product insights from prospect conversations.
This role is ideal for someone with 5+ years of full-cycle, quota-carrying sales experience, including transactional/high-velocity backgrounds. You must have native Spanish fluency (Portuguese a plus), direct LatAm market selling experience, and a proven track record of self-sourcing pipeline through cold outreach. An entrepreneurial mindset, ownership mentality, and B2B SaaS background are essential. Prior founding AE or early-market-building experience is strongly preferred. You should be comfortable with AI tools to amplify your effectiveness and must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship; East or Central time zone preferred.
