Matter Labs builds cryptographic infrastructure for global finance, creating zero-knowledge rollup technology. The company has shipped production systems including ZKsync and Prividium, an Ethereum-secured blockchain platform for banks and financial institutions requiring privacy, compliance, and data control. Prividium is already in production with Deutsche Bank's Project DAMA 2 and underpins Cari Network, a tokenized-deposit network developed with five US regional banks. As Account Executive for Institutional Sales, you will own Prividium's business expansion across the United States. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with no people-management responsibility, though it can grow into team leadership as the market matures. You will own US revenue delivery against agreed pipeline, bookings, and revenue outcomes. Key responsibilities include: developing target-account strategy to identify which institutions, use cases, and stakeholders to pursue; originating pipeline through executive relationships, direct prospecting, and market knowledge; conducting deep discovery to understand customer workflows, constraints, and economics across tokenized deposits, payments, settlement, collateral, funds, and asset issuance; navigating complex institutional buying processes spanning business, product, technology, architecture, security, risk, compliance, procurement, and legal; closing strategic agreements with banks, asset managers, market-infrastructure providers, and payment firms; and feeding the company with structured customer, competitor, and regulatory insights to inform product, positioning, and go-to-market decisions. Required qualifications: 8+ years of enterprise B2B sales or strategic-account experience with demonstrated closed six- or seven-figure agreements; proven track record selling software, data, SaaS, or infrastructure into banks, capital-markets firms, or regulated financial institutions; ability to originate pipeline through executive relationships and direct prospecting with named examples of accounts opened; experience leading multi-stakeholder buying processes involving security, risk, compliance, procurement, legal, and executive approval; credible ability to discuss enterprise architecture, APIs, integration, deployment models, and data privacy with senior technology stakeholders; and demonstrated success selling emerging or category-defining products while sales motions were still being refined. Nice-to-have: working knowledge of blockchain, tokenization, or institutional digital assets. The company operates with a freedom and ownership culture emphasizing results over time tracking or bureaucracy.
