Teamworks is seeking an Account Executive II for Player ID, an advanced analytics platform for football recruitment. This role is based in the UK and reports to the EMEA Commercial Director, with responsibility for building and closing commercial relationships across Europe and the Middle East.
You will own the full commercial cycle from initial engagement through deal close, focusing on top-down relationship building with club owners, chief executives, and sporting directors. Your responsibilities include building and progressing pipeline through consultative selling, understanding each club's short and long-term objectives, and positioning how Player ID can drive their recruitment success. You'll multi-thread across senior stakeholders to align competing priorities and partner with Marketing and Business Development teams to refine outreach and identify priority accounts.
The role requires regular travel across Europe and the Middle East for in-person relationship building and industry events. You must be fluent in English and have proven experience selling to C-suite and senior leadership, not starting conversations lower in the organization. A working understanding of player recruitment analytics metrics and their influence on scouting decisions is essential, though deep data science expertise is not required.
Ideal candidates bring additional European language skills (French, Spanish, or Italian) and prior exposure to recruitment analytics or scouting technology in football. This is a hands-on role requiring personal commitment to relationship building rather than delegation.
