The company is part of the dwpbank group and combines long-standing financial expertise with modern technology to democratize investing.
As an Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle for key prospects, from prospecting through closing strategic partnerships with FinTechs, banks, wealth managers, and insurers. This is a hands-on role requiring end-to-end account ownership: targeting new accounts, conducting discovery, leading solution design discussions, and closing complex multi-stakeholder deals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the complete sales process for assigned accounts, from initial outreach to commercial close
- Building and managing a healthy pipeline through targeted outbound prospecting, industry events, referrals, and strategic networking
- Conducting structured discovery and qualification, evaluating business cases, and helping prospects identify the right commercial model
- Leading cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Partnerships, Legal, and Compliance to design effective solutions
- Building strong relationships with champions and decision-makers across the financial services ecosystem
- Continuously improving sales processes and tooling to build a scalable, best-in-class sales operation
You bring B2B sales experience in the German and broader European market, with a track record of full-cycle sales in financial services, brokers, or FinTechs. You are a proactive pipeline builder comfortable navigating complex, regulated environments with multiple stakeholders. You communicate confidently with senior decision-makers and are fluent in German and English (additional European languages a plus). You demonstrate ownership, curiosity, adaptability, and a strong bias for action.
The company offers competitive compensation based on experience, flexible working hours with core collaboration hours 12:00-16:00, and a hybrid model allowing work from anywhere in Germany with 4+ days monthly on-site in Berlin. Professional development includes regular mentorship, stretch opportunities, a clear career framework with frequent feedback, and an annual learning budget.
