Salary: USD 231,200 - 340,000 / annual
Dataminr is seeking an Account Executive focused on the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to drive new business and expand the company's footprint across DHS agencies and components. This is a quota-carrying federal sales role where you will serve as the primary point of contact for DHS stakeholders, translating mission-critical needs into technology solutions while navigating the full federal acquisition lifecycle.
You will develop strategic, consultative relationships with federal stakeholders to understand their goals and seamlessly integrate Dataminr's AI-powered intelligence platform into their workflows. The role involves partnering with internal teams to develop customized onboarding, training, and usage plans for each customer, as well as managing opportunity pipelines and providing accurate forecasts to management.
Key responsibilities include attaining quarterly targets for bookings, ensuring on-time renewals, managing critical renewal and expansion metrics, and increasing penetration within your book of business through existing products and new offerings. You will identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities while managing a complex, long-cycle federal sales pipeline.

You should bring 4-6 years of federal sales experience selling technology or SaaS solutions, with proven success selling large complex deals to DHS. A track record of hitting or exceeding quota, strong communication skills for diverse audiences, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments are essential. Domestic travel of approximately 25% is required. The role is fully remote within the US.
