Filevine is seeking an Account Executive to drive sales of its Legal Operating Intelligence platform to federal civilian government agencies. This role focuses on selling Filevine's legal case management and workflow SaaS solution, powered by LOIS (Legal Operating Intelligence System), to the federal market.
As Account Executive for Federal Civilian, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities within federal civilian agencies, manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing, and build strategic relationships with decision-makers in government legal departments and compliance offices. You'll leverage Filevine's AI-powered platform capabilities—which automate legal workflows, surface insights across case data, and transform legal operations from reactive to proactive—as key differentiators in your pitch.
Your responsibilities include:
- Prospecting and qualifying leads within federal civilian agencies
- Conducting discovery calls and needs assessments with government legal teams
- Developing and presenting tailored solutions that address federal compliance, case management, and operational efficiency needs
- Managing deal progression through multiple stakeholders and procurement processes
- Closing contracts and achieving quarterly/annual sales targets
- Maintaining accurate pipeline and forecast reporting
- Collaborating with solutions engineers and customer success teams to ensure smooth implementations
You should have proven enterprise SaaS sales experience, ideally with exposure to government or regulated markets. Understanding of federal procurement processes, legal operations, or compliance workflows is a plus. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are essential. The role is based in Washington, DC with hybrid flexibility.
