New Relic is seeking an Account Executive for Expansion to join the North America Sales team. This hybrid role is based in Atlanta but offers remote flexibility with frequent travel across the Northeast/East region to meet enterprise customers face-to-face.
You will build and nurture relationships with complex organizations, presenting New Relic's observability platform to C-suite and multi-level decision-makers. The role emphasizes consultative, solutions-based selling—listening to customer needs and positioning New Relic's value in improving digital application performance and accelerating time-to-market.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting frequent in-person meetings with enterprise prospects and customers across the East region
- Managing complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles with autonomy and strategic thinking
- Presenting to senior executives and navigating organizational hierarchies
- Balancing home office work with necessary regional travel
- Collaborating with the broader sales team while driving individual quota achievement
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of enterprise software sales experience
- Proven track record closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the East region
- Consultative selling approach with strong listening and problem-solving skills
- Excellent collaboration and team-oriented mindset
Bonus experience includes background in observability, DevOps, or cloud software solutions, plus a related university degree or equivalent practical experience.
