Harvey is an AI platform transforming legal and professional services by combining frontier agentic AI, enterprise-grade infrastructure, and deep domain expertise. As an Enterprise Account Executive on the Federal team, you will own a named list of U.S. federal agencies and drive adoption of Harvey across their legal organizations.
You will run the full sales cycle from prospecting through contracting, onboarding, and expansion. Federal legal work—litigation, investigations, FOIA, procurement, and regulatory drafting—represents a largely untouched market for AI solutions, and this role is positioned at the early stage of Harvey's federal expansion.
Key responsibilities include: owning a named list of federal agencies and components; achieving and exceeding revenue targets and pipeline metrics; multi-threading across agency general counsel, component leadership, CIO/CISO organizations, and contracting officers; selecting and driving the appropriate procurement path (direct award, GSA schedule, GWAC, OTA, or reseller) in partnership with the Head of Public Sector; managing the security review workstream with Harvey's Security and Compliance team, including FedRAMP artifacts and agency-specific questionnaires; planning and executing against the federal fiscal calendar; running product demonstrations for agency legal teams; and documenting learnings into a repeatable federal playbook.
Required qualifications: 5+ years selling complex enterprise software with meaningful federal quota experience; closed federal deals through at least one procurement channel; practical experience navigating agency security review and authorization; fluency with the federal buying calendar; exceptional detail discipline (federal deals are often lost on paperwork and missed windows, not demos); ability to prospect and run full sales cycles independently; strong consultative, value-based selling instincts; and demonstrated interest in AI and improving government legal operations.
Nice-to-have qualifications include existing relationships in federal agency legal or CIO organizations, prior experience selling to legal departments or law firms, and experience at a company that achieved FedRAMP authorization.
