Mistral is a full-stack AI company providing frontier models, developer tools, applications, and compute infrastructure. They partner with enterprises across finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector to co-create customized AI systems.
As Account Executive Enterprise, you will drive end-to-end deal cycles with Mistral's largest customers. You'll own the full sales journey from strategic prospecting and inbound qualification through closing and post-sale success, collaborating closely with implementation specialists, technical teams, and legal.
Key responsibilities include:
**Lead Generation & Development**: Execute strategic outbound campaigns and convert warm introductions to promising enterprise prospects. Identify upselling and bespoke agreement opportunities within the inbound pipeline.
**Value Proposition & POC Management**: Provide hands-on guidance during Proof of Concept phases to ensure smooth customer evaluation. Leverage successful POC outcomes to convert into long-term revenue contracts.
**Deal Management & Closing**: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to convert leads into customers. Serve as the primary external stakeholder contact, managing deals and aligning internal teams (customer engineering, product, commercial) at both operational and C-level. Handle customer negotiations end-to-end with legal and implementation support.
**Executive Engagement**: Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, innovation heads, and key decision-makers. Understand their specific challenges and position Mistral's solutions as strategic initiatives.
**Technical Aptitude**: Demonstrate deep understanding of Mistral's technical product and articulate value effectively. Work alongside implementation teams through pre-sales, deployment, and post-deployment phases. Collaborate with technical teams to address customer concerns.
**Enablement & Feedback**: Empower internal teams with customer insights to inform product roadmap and prioritization.
Required qualifications: 7-10 years enterprise sales experience selling complex technical products. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field. Significant experience in AI ecosystem or data/infrastructure. Background at successful fast-growing deep-tech startups preferred. Strong technical acumen, excellent negotiation and communication skills. Fluent English and French; additional languages (German, Spanish) a plus.
