Braze is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to lead sales into professional sports organizations (NHL, NBA, MLB, MLS teams and leagues). This is a specialized, vertical-native role within Braze's MEGS (Media, Entertainment, Gaming & Sports) organization, designed to own a high-value book of named accounts with a dual mandate: grow and protect existing team/league relationships while aggressively acquiring net-new logos across all four major leagues. You will operate as the "GM" of your book, building account strategy across a relatively small universe of premium accounts. The sales cycle is approximately 110 days and involves navigating complex, multi-stakeholder buying committees spanning marketing, ticketing, digital, data/analytics, and business intelligence functions. Core responsibilities include: owning and building pipeline across named NHL, NBA, MLB, and MLS accounts with emphasis on net-new prospecting; mapping decision-makers across multiple departments; running consultative, value-based sales processes from discovery through close; partnering with Business Development Representatives and Marketing to prioritize pipeline coverage; developing executive-level business value assessments connecting Braze's platform to team/league outcomes (ticket revenue, sponsorship activation, membership retention, fan engagement); collaborating cross-functionally with Deal Desk, Strategic Consulting, Customer Success, and Services on deal structuring and onboarding; representing Braze at industry events and sports-tech forums; and maintaining accurate Salesforce forecasting. The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, ideally in Marketing Technology, CDP, or CRM categories. You must demonstrate expertise in complex, multi-stakeholder solution selling and value-based selling methodologies (Command of the Message training a plus). Genuine passion for professional sports and working knowledge of how teams and leagues generate revenue is essential. Required skills include Salesforce CRM proficiency, ability to quickly ramp on new product surfaces, proven track record navigating non-traditional buying committees, and strong executive presentation skills. Travel for in-market meetings and industry events is expected.
