Braze is seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to lead sales into professional sports organizations (NHL, NBA, MLB, MLS teams and leagues). This is a specialized vertical-native role within Braze's MEGS (Media, Entertainment, Gaming & Sports) organization, focused on building pipeline and closing net-new logos while growing existing relationships. You will own a named book of high-value accounts across all four major sports leagues, operating as the "GM" of your territory. The sales cycle is approximately 110 days and involves navigating complex, multi-stakeholder buying committees spanning marketing, ticketing, digital, data/analytics, and business intelligence functions. Core responsibilities include: building and executing account plans with mapped decision-makers; running consultative, value-based sales processes from discovery through close; developing executive-level business value assessments that connect Braze's cross-channel orchestration and AI-powered personalization to team/league outcomes (ticket revenue, sponsorship activation, season-ticket retention, fan engagement); partnering with Business Development Representatives and Marketing to prioritize pipeline coverage; collaborating cross-functionally with Deal Desk, Strategic Consulting, and Customer Success on deal structuring and onboarding; representing Braze at industry events and league meetings; and maintaining accurate Salesforce forecasting. The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of Enterprise SaaS sales experience, preferably in Marketing Technology, CDP, or CRM categories. You should have demonstrated expertise in complex, multi-stakeholder solution selling and training in value-based selling methodologies (Command of the Message experience is a plus). A genuine passion for professional sports and understanding of how teams/leagues monetize fan engagement is essential. Required skills include Salesforce CRM proficiency, ability to quickly ramp on new product surfaces, proven success navigating non-traditional buying committees, strong executive presentation skills, and willingness to travel for in-market meetings and industry events.
