Socure is building identity trust infrastructure for the digital economy, verifying identities in real time and stopping fraud before it starts. The company is seeking an Account Executive Director to lead new business revenue growth in the Federal public sector market.
This role reports directly to the Head of Public Sector Sales and focuses on selling identity verification and fraud prevention solutions to large Federal agencies. The Account Executive Director will be responsible for managing the full sales lifecycle, from account penetration and pursuit strategy through contracting and negotiation.
Key responsibilities include growing new and existing accounts in partnership with federal agency leaders, building and managing a strong pipeline with federal agencies, driving relationship-focused activity, managing deal negotiations, and defining compelling win themes. The role requires deep collaboration skills to build valuable long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Success depends on understanding how Socure's products align with federal business priorities and independently communicating the value proposition to prospects.
The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of software or technology sales experience with specific expertise in the Federal public sector market. Required qualifications include a proven track record navigating multi-stakeholder sales at the executive Federal level, exceptional relationship development skills, consistent quota over-achievement, and demonstrated ability to partner with alliances and channels. Background in fraud, risk, identity, security, or complex data analytics is highly valued. The candidate must have strong negotiation and leadership skills, Salesforce experience, and a BS/BA degree. Experience at a fast-paced startup is a plus.
