As an Account Executive for Digital Natives, you will own new business development across a territory of high-growth, engineering-driven companies. This is a hunter role focused on building pipeline, breaking into high-potential accounts, running technical sales cycles, and closing net-new customers.
Your buyers are engineers, platform teams, engineering leaders, founders, and CTOs. You'll need to be comfortable selling a deeply technical product, understanding how customers build and ship software, and connecting infrastructure performance to meaningful business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include: owning a territory from prospecting through close; identifying high-impact accounts and developing winning strategies; building relationships across engineering, platform, DevOps, finance, and executive stakeholders; running disciplined sales processes from initial conversation through commercial negotiation; generating pipeline through targeted outbound, creative prospecting, events, and referrals; partnering with Solutions Engineers on technical discovery and POCs; developing strong understanding of CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and developer workflows; multithreading from individual engineers to leadership; and helping shape the GTM motion by bringing customer feedback to product and refining messaging and playbooks.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years of quota-carrying AE experience selling infrastructure, developer tools, cloud services, observability, security, or technical SaaS. You should have a track record of consistently generating your own pipeline and winning net-new logos, be comfortable selling to engineers and technical executives, and have experience multithreading and connecting technical value to business outcomes. Experience selling to digital-native/startup companies, familiarity with CI/CD and GitHub Actions, and background at early-stage or hypergrowth companies are strong bonuses.
