Illumio is seeking an Account Executive for the Commercial/Mid-Market segment to drive sales growth in Germany. You will own a defined territory, build relationships with mid-market clients, and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas. Your responsibilities include developing and executing territory plans with target prospect lists, building and nurturing a partner seller ecosystem, conducting product demonstrations, and managing ongoing account relationships to drive customer satisfaction and expansion revenue.
You will act as a trusted advisor, understanding customer business needs and aligning Illumio's breach containment and Zero Trust solutions to their IT roadmaps. You'll collaborate with marketing, inside sales, and sales engineers to generate pipeline and qualify opportunities. The role requires executive-level relationship management, strong CRM discipline, and the ability to work effectively in a matrixed support organization with virtual specialists.
Required qualifications include 3+ years of Commercial Account Executive or equivalent experience in IT/cybersecurity sales. You must demonstrate a proven track record of exceeding revenue goals and new customer acquisition, with experience selling through partner channels and managing partner networks. Strong understanding of cybersecurity market dynamics and Zero Trust principles is essential. You should have a successful history of selling to C-suite executives across all lines of business with an established regional contact network.

You must be comfortable with 20-50% travel depending on business needs.
