Flare is a cybersecurity SaaS company that helps organizations detect and manage external threats across the dark and clear web. The platform unifies cyber threat intelligence and external attack surface management, enabling security teams to proactively identify high-risk exposures before threat actors exploit them.
As Account Executive for Benelux & Nordics, you will drive direct and partner-led revenue growth across Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Nordic countries. Based in the UK with regular travel to the region (approximately 50%), you will own the complete sales cycle from prospecting through close, managing both new logo acquisition and partner-led opportunities.
Key responsibilities include: building and managing a self-generated pipeline of high-quality opportunities; developing deep expertise in the cybersecurity threat landscape to position Flare compellingly to security leaders and CISOs; collaborating with channel partners (VARs, MSSPs) to maximize market coverage; maintaining a strategic target account list focused on high-value prospects; ensuring rigorous CRM hygiene in HubSpot; providing accurate pipeline forecasting; and attending regional events to build in-market credibility.
You will need 5+ years of closing sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding quota, plus 3+ years in cybersecurity sales (threat intelligence, ASM, or SaaS). Experience with channel-led or hybrid go-to-market models is essential. You must be based in the UK, comfortable with regular international travel, and thrive in fast-paced startup environments. Critical mandatory requirements include proven experience selling into Benelux and/or Nordic markets with understanding of regional buying behaviors; existing relationships with VARs and MSSPs across the territory; and native fluency in at least one Nordic language (Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, or Finnish) plus native or near-native English.
Bonus qualifications include experience with threat intelligence or ASM platforms, an existing network of CISOs and security leaders in the region, experience building strategic target account lists in new markets, and a track record of scaling territories through multiple company growth stages.
Flare offers competitive salary with uncapped commissions, stock options, health coverage, pension plan, generous holiday allowance, and a travel budget supporting the 50% regional travel requirement. The company emphasizes work-life balance, offers team events, and provides autonomy to shape the channel function across strategic markets.
