Salary: USD 70,500 - 141,000 / annual
UpKeep is building the AI-powered future of maintenance through an AI-first CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) platform. The company serves over 4,000 enterprises including Shell, Yamaha, Unilever, and Marriott, helping maintenance and facilities teams modernize asset operations with automation, machine learning, and predictive insights. Backed by Insight Partners, Emergence Capital, and Y Combinator, UpKeep is leading a $30B category shift toward Asset Operations Management.
As an Account Executive, you will drive company growth by identifying, sourcing, and closing net new business opportunities. This is a high-volume inside sales role where all customer interactions occur via phone, Zoom, and email. You will manage a strong pipeline of new logo leads, qualify and convert both inbound and outbound leads through product demos and value-based proposals, and own contract negotiations through close. You are responsible for self-sourcing into net new prospects to maintain healthy pipeline coverage, hitting monthly and annual sales targets while maintaining weekly activity metrics, and handing off closed deals to the Customer Success and Implementation teams.
The role offers the opportunity to sell into the maintenance, manufacturing, and facilities sectors—industries undergoing significant digital transformation. You'll work with a fast-scaling SaaS company that prioritizes builder culture, high agency, and outcomes over bureaucracy. The team is distributed globally with a strong LA headquarters presence.
**Requirements:**
- 2+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience with quota-carrying and direct sales responsibility
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and receiving positive customer feedback
- Proficiency with CRM applications, particularly Salesforce
- Strong phone sales and closing techniques
- Excellent organizational, follow-up, and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Bachelor's degree preferred (equivalent experience considered)
**Preferred Experience:**
- Background in maintenance, manufacturing, or facilities sales
- Experience with Salesforce, Gong, Zoominfo, Outreach, or Chili Piper
- Experience partnering with a Business Development Representative (BDR)
- Extensive lead generation and sales development experience in high-paced environments
