The company also operates the SmartAsset Advisor Marketing Platform (AMP), which connects consumers with fiduciary financial advisors. The Account Executive role is part of a 50+ person inside sales team distributed across the United States. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting through closing, targeting financial advisors as potential clients for the SmartAsset Advisor platform.
Key responsibilities include: conducting high-volume prospecting and cold outreach to identify new business opportunities; educating prospective customers on platform features and ROI; taking a consultative approach to understand client business needs and close deals; becoming an expert in the financial advisor industry to identify strong prospects; maintaining organized records in Salesforce; and collaborating with leadership on revenue-generation strategies.
You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment, making 100+ calls per day, and driving deals independently. The role requires 1-3 years of full sales cycle experience, preferably in inside sales, cold calling, or transactional sales roles within high-growth startups. Salesforce experience is preferred but not required.
