Papaya Global, a B2B SaaS unicorn backed by $400M+ in funding, is seeking an experienced Account Executive to drive new business development in the payroll and workforce management space. You will identify and close deals with enterprise and mid-sized international organizations, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract signature.
In this role, you'll leverage AI-powered sales tools to enhance prospecting, account planning, and stakeholder engagement. You'll deliver compelling, tailored demos and proposals to C-suite and senior HR/Finance stakeholders at multinational companies. Your consultative approach will focus on understanding complex global payroll, compliance, and HR operations challenges, then recommending Papaya's platform as the solution.
Key responsibilities include generating new business opportunities with mid-market and enterprise global organizations; identifying and engaging key decision-makers; maintaining market and competitive awareness; managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles; and collaborating with internal Sales, Product, and Operations teams to ensure smooth customer handovers.
You'll work in a global, multicultural environment and share field insights to support product and process improvements. Success requires strong communication skills, ability to navigate international sales dynamics, and comfort with modern AI-enabled sales tools.
Required qualifications: 3–5 years managing full sales cycles in payroll, HCM, HR tech, EOR, or workforce management; proven track record selling complex SaaS to mid-market and enterprise buyers; deep understanding of global payroll, HRIS, HCM, ERP, and HR tech ecosystems; experience engaging senior HR, Payroll, Finance, and Procurement stakeholders; and strong presentation and communication skills.
