incident.io is an AI-native software reliability platform trusted by engineering teams at Netflix, Etsy, and 2,000+ companies. The company has raised $96 million from Index Ventures, Insight Partners, and Point Nine and is growing rapidly.
This is a full-cycle Account Executive role with a strong outbound bias. You will own your pipeline from the ground up, building target lists, running creative outreach campaigns, and conducting proactive outreach. You'll sell into VP Engineering, CTO, and SRE leaders at forward-thinking digital-native companies. Deals typically range from $40k–$50k ACV with a clear path to six figures, and sales cycles average around 45 days.
You'll work in a pod model alongside a BDR and Solutions Engineer, ensuring real partnerships and shared accountability. You'll also collaborate with Customer Success early in the deal cycle for seamless handoffs. The product story is compelling—incident.io was built by engineers who understand on-call life and the pain of 2am pages. When selling to CTOs and SRE leads, you're discussing a problem they've lived, not just pitching software.
AEs here are expected to be AI-forward in their approach—building business cases, running research, and finding smarter ways to work territories. The company values bringing ideas, not just executing playbooks. There is clear progression: Commercial AEs have moved into Enterprise roles and management positions.
Benefits include market-leading private medical insurance, competitive PTO, first Friday of every month off, enhanced 401k matching, meaningful equity, unlimited AI spend for all employees, generous parental leave, $1,000 setup budget, and $500 annual professional development budget.
