As an Account Executive, you will drive revenue growth by acquiring and building relationships with mid-market customers (20–500+ employees) across Canada. You'll own the complete sales cycle from discovery through close, employing a consultative, solution-oriented approach that prioritizes customer value and strategic insight over transactional selling.
Key responsibilities include: using consultative sales techniques to guide prospects through the buying journey; pursuing individual and team sales goals with consistent monthly target achievement; maintaining and prioritizing pipelines while owning end-to-end deal progression; adopting a customer-obsessed mentality to uncover needs across multiple stakeholders; serving as the voice of the customer to Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams; and contributing ideas to build a world-class sales organization.
You'll work with finance teams at some of Canada's fastest-growing companies across diverse industries. The role is hybrid based in Toronto or the Greater Toronto Area, requiring office presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Ideal candidates bring 2–4 years of B2B tech sales experience, preferably in high-growth startups. You should have familiarity with accounting/finance products or close relationships with finance leaders, combined with commercial acumen and ROI mindset. You're results-driven, exceeding targets consistently, and thrive in fast-paced environments. Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential, as is the ability to build rapport quickly, listen actively, and adapt to objections creatively.
