Day AI is an AI-native system of record for customer relationships, positioning itself as the successor to traditional CRM platforms. Founded by Christopher O'Donnell (who built HubSpot's Marketing, Sales, Service, and Data Hubs), the company has raised a $20M Series A from Sequoia and already has hundreds of companies running their go-to-market teams on its platform.
As an Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, converting inbound demand while building your own pipeline into VC-backed companies with 50+ employees. This is a full-cycle role with no handoffs and direct access to decision makers (founders and CEOs). You'll manage a high-volume pipeline with short sales cycles and consistent throughput, while also managing and growing the existing customer base to drive retention, expansion, and long-term value.
Key responsibilities include owning pipeline management and quota attainment, helping define the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), sharpening the pitch, and building scalable frameworks for future sales reps. You'll feed market intelligence back to the product and go-to-market teams, directly influencing product direction and how Day AI scales.
The ideal candidate has full-cycle AE or senior BDR experience in transactional or SMB motions with proven volume and quota attainment. You should have experience selling to technical or AI-native buyers, comfort with AI tools used habitually (not experimentally), and ideally have worked at an early-stage company where you had to build before selling. You're someone who builds your own process, pushes back when something isn't working, figures things out without detailed instructions, and moves fast without waiting for infrastructure to be ready.
Compensation is $200,000–$250,000 OTE plus meaningful equity. The company offers quarterly offsites, flexible time off, Apple hardware, and a team described as kind, competitive, and genuinely obsessed with building something that matters.
