WeTravel is a fintech platform that helps multi-day and group tour operators streamline bookings and payments. The company is launching its Australian operations and seeking an Account Executive to build out the local sales team.
In this role, you will own the full sales cycle for the APAC region, from prospecting and discovery calls through product demonstrations, deal closure, and client handoff to onboarding. You'll work with travel industry operators to understand their unique needs and position WeTravel's solutions as the right fit for their business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prospecting and outbound outreach to potential clients in the travel and tour operator space
- Conducting product demos and articulating WeTravel's value proposition
- Managing the sales pipeline and hitting or exceeding sales targets
- Collaborating with the onboarding team to ensure smooth client transitions
- Providing product feedback based on client interactions
- Up to 10% travel for client visits
You should have 2+ years of B2B SaaS or travel industry sales experience, preferably in Australia or APAC. You're comfortable with outbound calls and cold calling, excel at consultative selling, and can manage a full sales cycle independently. You're self-motivated, goal-oriented, and thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment with autonomy.
