Twilio is seeking an experienced Account Executive to drive new business opportunities and expand its presence in the Latin American market. This is a remote role based in Colombia, focused on identifying and prospecting new business opportunities, developing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline through strategic outreach and networking, and conducting thorough needs assessments to understand customer requirements.
You will present and demonstrate Twilio's product suite—including Messaging, Voice, Flex, and more—to potential clients, collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation, and achieve sales targets and performance metrics. The role requires staying informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to effectively position Twilio's offerings, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; 10+ years of proven success in B2B sales, preferably within technology, communications, BPOs, telcos, or financial services; strong understanding of Latin America's market and business culture; excellent communication and presentation skills in both Spanish and English; ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment; proficiency in CRM software and sales tools; and strong sales discovery, objection handling, business acumen, and closing skills.
Desired qualifications include demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and negotiate effectively, and strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends. Approximately 30% travel is anticipated to connect in-person with customers and colleagues.
