This role sits at the intersection of sales, technical strategy, and partnership, requiring you to guide customers through complex AI deployment journeys from ideation to production.
You will manage key accounts with consumption revenue targets exceeding $1M annually, developing comprehensive account strategies and executing multi-stakeholder deal cycles. Working closely with solutions engineers, research teams, and product management, you'll help enterprise customers understand and operationalize OpenAI's AI models to transform their businesses. Beyond direct sales, you'll contribute to company strategy by monitoring competitive and industry landscapes, supporting recruitment and onboarding of sales teammates, and helping shape company culture. Required experience includes 10+ years selling SaaS/PaaS platforms, consistently achieving $1M+ annual revenue targets for 3+ years, designing complex deal strategies, and communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences. Strong market intelligence gathering and strategic thinking are essential.
The ideal candidate is deeply customer-centric, passionate about AI's potential to benefit humanity, and energized by building scalable systems and processes. You thrive solving novel, multidimensional problems and think strategically across years, bringing stakeholders along your vision. The role is hybrid (3 days/week in office) with relocation assistance available.
