Salary: CAD 160,000 - 200,000 / annual
Via Transportation is seeking an Account Director to serve as the primary relationship owner for complex, high-value municipal and transit agency partnerships. You will be the face and voice of Via for partner organizations, building durable relationships with city and agency leadership while driving commercial outcomes including contract renewals and service expansions.
In this role, you will own a portfolio of strategic partner relationships and act as a trusted advisor to senior city and agency executives. You will translate partner needs and community priorities into revenue opportunities, use service performance data to guide partnership strategy, and independently lead multi-year, high-stakes contract negotiations. You will also champion Via's new products and capabilities internally, advocating for partners and influencing the company's roadmap to expand service scope.

The company works with hundreds of agency partners globally and is recognized as the leading transportation technology and service provider in the sector. This role sits within the Partner Success team, a collaborative group passionate about improving public transit and creating measurable impact for communities.
Key responsibilities include: owning a complex portfolio of high-value relationships as the primary executive contact; acting as a strategic peer and trusted consultant to senior partner leadership; building long-term relationships and identifying growth and revenue opportunities; using data to set strategic direction for partnerships; leading complex contract renewals and service expansions with high-stakes negotiations; and championing new products internally to facilitate partner expansion.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in a client-facing role, with a proven track record of independently owning and growing strategic accounts at the most senior levels
- Fluency in both French and English required for frequent client interaction
- Quantitatively inclined and data-savvy; ability to use complex data sets to drive strategic decisions and influence senior stakeholders internally and externally
- Entrepreneurial relationship builder who brings clarity and confidence to complex, politically sensitive situations
- Self-starter who shapes how things are done and sets standards others aspire to
- Natural leader whose judgment, presence, and way of operating raises the quality of work and people around them
