Tempo is seeking an Account Director to drive new and expansion business in the Enterprise segment. You'll work with Fortune 500 companies and large organizations, managing the full sales cycle from qualification through close and account expansion. The role involves positioning Tempo's award-winning project and portfolio management solutions (built on the Atlassian ecosystem) to enterprise buyers, collaborating with solutions partners on joint deals, and building strategic relationships with executive sponsors.
Key responsibilities include: identifying high-potential accounts within your territory and developing expansion strategies; educating decision-makers on how Tempo's product suite drives business impact; managing pipeline and forecasting in Salesforce; negotiating enterprise agreements; traveling to customer locations as needed; and collaborating with Pre-Sales and Sales Engineers on account strategy and technical recommendations. You'll also contribute to developing new pricing and engagement models as Tempo scales upmarket.
The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of enterprise B2B SaaS sales experience, with a proven track record of exceeding quota, closing large logos with Fortune 500 companies, and managing complex sales cycles involving senior management. You should be a relationship builder with strong prospecting skills, experience managing key customer relationships through solution partners and systems integrators, and familiarity with the Atlassian Marketplace and project/portfolio management solutions. Data-driven problem-solving and the ability to diagnose sales blockers are essential.
