Salary: USD 75,000 - 95,000 / annual
Postman is the world's leading API platform used by 45+ million developers and 500,000 organizations, including 98% of the Fortune 500. As an Account Development Representative, you will uncover business needs for Strategic & Enterprise Accounts and build pipeline for the sales organization.
You will work with the Account Development Manager and cross-functional teams to create strategic targets, identify new and expansion business opportunities, and meet committed targets by engaging qualified leads. Your role involves consultative engagement to qualify opportunities by understanding business challenges while educating prospects on Postman's product value.
Key responsibilities include conducting detailed research within targeted accounts to identify key contacts and critical information, selecting and engaging prospects identified through marketing efforts, becoming an expert in sales prospecting platforms and tools, and using identified customer challenges to prescribe relevant campaigns and events. You will develop superior customer service relationships with prospects, maintain accurate CRM records, and proactively learn Postman's product, competitive offerings, and market knowledge.
You should have 6 months to 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or related fields, with experience qualifying leads across all organizational levels (developers through executives). You must be fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English. The ideal candidate is energetic, creative, thinks outside-the-box, and thrives in a fast-paced sales environment. You must live in Boston, San Francisco Bay Area, or Austin, TX and be willing to come into the office 1-2 times per week.
