Salary: USD 75,000 - 95,000 / annual

As an Account Development Representative, you'll be responsible for uncovering business needs for Strategic & Enterprise Accounts and building pipeline for the sales organization.
You will work closely with the Account Development Manager and cross-functional teams (marketing, sales enablement) to identify and generate new and expansion business opportunities. Your primary focus will be qualifying leads through consultative engagement, understanding business challenges, and educating prospects on Postman's value proposition. You'll conduct detailed research within targeted accounts to identify key contacts and critical information, then engage with prospects identified through marketing efforts.
Key responsibilities include meeting or exceeding strategic goals and committed targets, developing superior customer service relationships with prospects, becoming an expert in sales prospecting platforms and tools, and using identified customer challenges to prescribe relevant campaigns and events. You'll maintain accurate CRM records, stay current on Postman's product, competitive landscape, and market knowledge, and continuously audit your own activity for accuracy and improvement.
You should have 6 months to 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with experience qualifying leads at all organizational levels (developers through executives) being a plus. You thrive in high-energy, fast-paced environments, think creatively, and are proficient with standard productivity tools. The role is based in Boston with hybrid flexibility (1-2 days in office per week), though Postman's standard policy is 5 days per week in-office at their hubs.
