OpenAI's Enterprise Go-To-Market organization is seeking an Account Associate to join the Business Development team in Dublin. This role is designed as a launchpad for future enterprise sellers, offering significant exposure to enterprise sales, product strategy, and customer engagement.
You will identify, shape, and advance complex enterprise opportunities by converting product usage, pilots, and inbound demand into qualified opportunities for the Large Enterprise and Strategic Accounts teams. Working in a hybrid model (3 days/week in office), you'll partner with Account Directors on account strategy, multi-threading, and deal progression.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and executing targeted outbound strategies using industry context and stakeholder mapping to penetrate priority accounts
- Conducting high-quality discovery to uncover business priorities, map stakeholders, and assess enterprise readiness
- Contributing to pipeline reviews with outbound activity, account insights, and competitive signals
- Building and iterating on AI-enabled GTM workflows (GPTs/agents) to scale prospecting and qualification
You should have 4-6+ years of professional experience, with 2-3 years in a full 360 closing role. Ideal candidates have a track record in enterprise sales or strategic customer-facing roles in finance or consulting, with experience in regulated or complex industries (Financial Services, Life Sciences, Retail). Strong executive presence, communication skills, and the ability to build credibility with C-Suite stakeholders are essential. A genuine interest in AI and the ability to connect OpenAI products to real customer value is critical. You should be comfortable with ambiguity, moving quickly, and operating with high ownership.
This is positioned as one of the most accelerated paths to build a long-term career in AI go-to-market at OpenAI. Many individuals progress to Account Director or broader GTM roles, though advancement is based on performance and business needs.
