WIZE, a leading Portfolio Management System for Swiss boutique wealth managers, external asset managers, and family offices, is seeking a Managing Director to establish and grow its UK business. You will report directly to the CEO of WIZE with full responsibility for building the UK subsidiary from the ground up.
This is a value-creation mandate in a new market expansion, not a turnaround. WIZE has 15+ years of product depth, a strong recurring subscription model, and trusted client relationships in its core Swiss market. You will leverage this foundation to enter the UK wealth management software market.
You will own all aspects of UK commercial execution: building the go-to-market motion, establishing local presence, developing bank and partner relationships, and driving new customer acquisition and ARR growth. You will serve as the primary executive relationship owner for key UK clients, private banks, and discretionary fund managers, ensuring high retention and expansion within existing accounts.
You will have substantial authority over UK strategy execution, including market positioning, target segments, pricing, partnerships, and resource allocation, decided jointly with the CEO. You will represent UK market needs in product roadmap discussions and contribute to embedding AI as a genuine operational and product advantage, not merely a roadmap item.
This role offers long-term backing from a permanent-capital owner (Banyan Software, a 100+ portfolio company operator founded in 2016) free from pressure to flip the business. You will work closely with the CEO and product/technology leadership to ensure the platform addresses UK market dynamics and competitive positioning in the WealthTech vertical.
