Thrive Global is a behavior change technology company founded by Arianna Huffington in 2016, on a mission to end the stress and burnout epidemic. The company's AI-powered platform delivers Microsteps—small, science-backed actions to improve health and productivity—adopted by employees at 125+ organizations across 140+ countries.
This Chief of Staff role sits at the center of Thrive's strategic health and pharma partnerships growth area. You will own the customer relationship on one of Thrive's largest health accounts, executing complex deliverables and managing cross-functional stakeholders both internally and externally. The scope extends beyond account management to include creating communications plans, activation timelines, program management, and executive-facing roadmaps—often starting from high-level directives rather than established templates, in close collaboration with executive leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own strategic customer relationships end-to-end, serving as the primary owner for Thrive's work across strategic health and pharma accounts, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders, and keeping priorities and workstreams on track.
- Lead complex customer programs by translating customer goals into clear strategies, plans, and programs, partnering across Thrive to drive execution and deliver high-quality customer experience.
- Create executive-ready materials including presentations, memos, proposals, and roadmaps suitable for C-suite audiences (internal and external). Strong slide creation and clear writing are core competencies.
- Drive follow-through by owning planning, tracking, and documentation of key workstreams, and ensuring execution of follow-ups from customer and partner meetings so nothing falls through the cracks.
The ideal candidate brings a chief of staff caliber skill set: exceptional attention to detail, deep resourcefulness, and the ability to create structure and momentum from ambiguity. Background in investment banking, private equity, consulting, startups, or technology is valued. You must be comfortable interfacing directly with customers, excellent at building and presenting materials, and able to run complex workstreams end-to-end. This is a high-trust individual contributor role reporting directly to the VP of Revenue & Customer Success, reflecting both the scale of work and degree of executive exposure.
