Candescent is a fintech company transforming how financial institutions deliver intelligent banking experiences through digital banking, account opening, and branch solutions. The company seeks a data-driven Web Strategy Manager to own the performance, structure, and continuous improvement of the company website from the India office, with coordination responsibilities toward the US-based Digital Experience lead. This is a strategy, prioritization, and performance role rather than a hands-on build role. You will set direction and roadmap, run the experimentation program, and work through web development, design, and SEO team members to deliver. You are expected to be technically fluent enough to scope work credibly, review quality, and troubleshoot alongside the team. This role acts as a senior point of coordination for the India web team, partnering closely with the US-based Digital Experience lead on priorities, delivery, and stakeholder communication. Key responsibilities include: - Own end-to-end web strategy, roadmap, and performance of the company website - Translate business and marketing objectives into a prioritized web roadmap, balancing impact, effort, and dependencies - Lead cross-functional web projects from scoping through launch, coordinating with design, content, development, and external vendors - Design, execute, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests across landing pages, forms, CTAs, and key user flows to improve conversion - Build and maintain a testing roadmap prioritized by potential impact and effort - Set direction and priorities for SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), working through the SEO Specialist - Monitor and report on site performance using Google Analytics (GA4), building dashboards and surfacing actionable insights - Establish and track KPIs including traffic, engagement, conversion, and pipeline contribution - Monitor site health including page speed, mobile experience, accessibility, and broken links - Partner with SEO, content, demand generation, product marketing, and sales teams to align web strategy with business objectives - Provide direction, review, and quality oversight to web development, design, and SEO team members - Maintain working schedule with sufficient overlap with US business hours on at least a few days each week Requirements: - 6–9 years of experience in web strategy, digital marketing, growth marketing, or related discipline, including experience setting direction rather than only executing - Proven, hands-on experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization, including experiment design and interpreting statistical significance - Strong working knowledge of SEO fundamentals across technical, on-page, and content, and familiarity with emerging AEO practices - Proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4), including custom reports, funnels, and attribution - Working knowledge of Webflow, sufficient to scope work, review builds, and troubleshoot with developers - Experience with Marketo or comparable marketing automation platform for forms, landing pages, and lead flow - Strong project management skills with ability to run multiple concurrent projects and keep cross-functional teams on track - Experience guiding, reviewing, or coordinating the work of other specialists such as developers, designers, or analysts - Excellent analytical skills and ability to turn data into clear recommendations, with strong written and verbal communication - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent professional experience considered Preferred qualifications: - Experience with testing and optimization platforms such as Optimizely or VWO - Basic HTML and CSS knowledge for troubleshooting Webflow builds - Familiarity with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, or Asana - Experience supporting financial services, technology, B2B, SaaS, or enterprise software brands - Experience collaborating across geographies and time zones
