EVERSANA INTOUCH is a global, full-service marketing agency network serving the life sciences industry, integrated within the EVERSANA commercialization platform. This VP, Strategic Planning role leads the strategic planning department, owning the process to develop real, rounded, and actionable insights that drive client success.
You will lead Directors and their teams with confidence and creativity, fostering strategic brilliance across the organization. This is a people-management role where you mentor and develop team members, empowering them to take ownership and lead independently. You'll partner closely with Creative Leaders, Group Account Directors, and subject matter experts to drive strategic initiatives and shape how the department evolves to meet changing digital demands.
Key responsibilities include: leading the strategic planning process to develop impactful insights; inspiring and mentoring Directors and their teams; collaborating with key stakeholders across creative, account, and subject matter expertise; continuously refining the department to meet evolving digital space demands; integrating traditional marketing knowledge with deep digital trend understanding; fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture; developing future leaders; driving innovation in strategic approaches; creating and executing strategic plans aligned with client goals and market trends; and staying current on industry best practices.
You are an experienced leader with 15+ years of account planning experience. You've led a planning department or managed a large account with a sizeable team. You're a consensus builder with vision to create strategic roadmaps, deeply appreciate the digital space with practical activation experience, and bring proven techniques to influence planning processes. You're a master storyteller with compelling communication skills, can educate and inspire planning teams and clients on emerging trends, and hold a bachelor's degree in marketing or advertising with required agency experience.
The ideal candidate is seasoned yet still connected to hands-on work, comfortable owning a room while mentoring others to do the same. You demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development and proactive bias management.
