Helsing is a defence AI company focused on protecting democracies through technological leadership and ethical AI development. This Team Lead role sits at the intersection of operational delivery, customer success, and tactical expertise for the internationally aligned Training and Mission Success Specialist (MSS) team.
You will own end-to-end planning and execution of field deployments and training courses across all international markets outside Germany. You'll lead small, high-functioning cross-discipline teams while serving as the primary business development interface during deployed customer-facing engagements. The role combines project management and leadership responsibilities with hands-on authority as an HX-2 tactics instructor, ensuring every deployment reflects the highest standards of operational and tactical excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead end-to-end project management of international field deployments and training courses, ensuring on-time, on-standard delivery across multiple simultaneous engagements globally—from the High-North to the Indo-Asia Pacific and beyond
- Serve as the primary business development lead during customer-facing deployments, building trusted relationships with defence and government stakeholders and feeding structured commercial intelligence back into the wider business
- Manage team coordination, resource allocation, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering, AI, and programme management disciplines
- Develop and deliver training curricula and tactical instruction that meets customer requirements and Helsing's operational standards
- Travel internationally to support deployments and customer engagements
