As General Manager for Mexico, you will report directly to the Global Head of Expansion and own Sardine's market strategy, revenue growth, and customer success in Mexico. This is a strategic leadership role focused on establishing Sardine as the leading fraud prevention platform in the Mexican market.
Key responsibilities include:
**Market Strategy & Entry:** Define Mexico market entry and expansion priorities based on regulatory readiness, fraud landscape, and addressable market size. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, Account Management, and Partnerships to develop market-specific strategies aligned to Mexico's financial infrastructure and compliance environment. Influence regional organizational planning and support hiring as the Mexico business scales.
**Revenue & Pipeline:** Partner with regional sales leaders to accelerate Mexico ARR and new logo acquisition by supporting strategic opportunities, shaping market strategy, and providing fraud expertise throughout the sales cycle.
**GTM Strategy:** Influence regional go-to-market strategy in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Product. Leverage Sardine's Sonar consortium network as a market differentiator. Establish operational playbooks for market entry, scaling, and customer retention. Develop strategic relationships with Mexican banks, payment networks (SPEI, CoDi), and system integrators to accelerate distribution.
**Customer Success & Retention:** Partner with Account Management on strategic enterprise accounts, executive business reviews, and expansion opportunities. Represent the voice of Mexican customers by translating customer feedback, fraud trends, and regional requirements into product and market strategy.
Required qualifications: 8+ years in GTM, general management, or leadership roles within fintech, payments, or fraud/risk technology, ideally with direct Mexican market exposure. Established network with Mexican banks, payment networks, regulators, and system integrators. Proven track record driving revenue growth and building go-to-market strategy in new or scaling markets. Deep understanding of Mexico's regulatory, compliance, and fraud landscape. Strong cross-functional leadership skills. Fluent in Spanish and English; willingness to travel within the region.
