Perry Weather builds technology that helps organizations stay safe and operational when weather conditions change. The company serves MLB teams, construction companies, schools, cities, golf courses, and manufacturing sites with a platform combining software, integrated hardware, and real-time data. As VP of Product, you'll own the product, design, and commercial strategy for Perry Weather's next growth phase. Reporting to the COO and sitting on the senior leadership team, you'll partner across engineering, hardware, data, and go-to-market functions. Key responsibilities include: owning commercial success (segmentation, pricing, packaging, monetization, GTM strategy); setting the product roadmap across three horizons (real-time alerting, historical analytics/compliance, meteorological forecasting with AI); building a data business from proprietary mesonet and sensor networks into APIs and packaged products for government, insurance, agriculture, and energy sectors; leading hardware product strategy across 6,000+ connected devices; expanding product offerings across weather categories and new verticals; and building/leading the product and design organization. You'll bring 8+ years in product, including leading B2B SaaS through real growth stages toward $100M+ revenue, with strong GM instincts around markets, customers, pricing, and ROI. Experience with hardware-enabled, IoT, or operationally complex products is valuable. You need technical fluency to partner with engineering and a CTO, familiarity with AI-enabled workflows, and a track record building and scaling product/design teams. Experience with enterprise SaaS/data platforms, weather/geospatial data, or vertical software in safety-critical industries (athletics, construction, public sector) is a plus. This is a builder's role requiring someone equally comfortable in board-level strategy and detailed specs, energized by both pricing models and field installations, and who thinks like a General Manager first.
