Cloudinary is seeking a Product Operations Lead to drive product launches, planning processes, AI adoption, and operational efficiency. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, marketing, and customer success, ensuring seamless product delivery and scaled best practices across the product management lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include leading cross-functional product launch planning with clear ownership and timelines, developing scalable launch playbooks with Product Marketing to standardize go-to-market execution, and tracking launch success through adoption, usage, and retention metrics. You will ensure internal teams are equipped with product documentation, release notes, and enablement materials, and partner with Customer Success to optimize post-launch support and user experience. You'll monitor product readiness and drive alignment between Product, R&D, Support, and GTM teams.
A core aspect of this role is embracing an AI-first builder approach. You will use Claude and connected systems (JIRA, Confluence, Vitally, Gong, Slack) as your default method for drafting, analysis, and synthesis. You'll ship lightweight internal tools—scripts, agents, digests, dashboards—that eliminate recurring manual work in release and launch operations without waiting for engineering roadmap slots. You'll contribute to the company's internal AI knowledge layer and design operational workflows that pull context from connected systems. You'll own AI adoption within Product Operations, identifying manual work that systems should handle, prototyping replacements, and proving efficacy before driving adoption. You'll apply judgment on where automation belongs, keeping human decision-making, escalations, and communications central.
You will define and track KPIs to measure release and launch effectiveness, identify and implement process improvements to enhance speed and efficiency, and leverage data insights to drive continuous optimization of product operations workflows. You'll own tooling and dashboards providing real-time visibility into product health and partner with R&D to streamline deployment workflows, product maintenance, and incident response guidelines.
Required: 7+ years in Product Operations, Business Development, or Product Lifecycle Management within SaaS or technology-driven companies. Experience with feature/product delivery, value-driven decision-making, and coordinating product launches and releases. Proficiency with agile, kanban, release processes, and change management. Hands-on daily use of AI tools with concrete examples of impact. Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools. Data-driven mindset with product performance metrics experience. Comfort contributing to engineering discussions on technology decisions and product pipeline strategy. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Desired: SaaS business models, pricing strategies, and GTM execution knowledge. Customer adoption and retention analytics familiarity. API-first or developer-focused product experience. Track record building internal tools or automations adopted by other teams. LLM-based workflow familiarity (prompt/agent design, MCP connectors).
