Dataiku is the Platform for AI Success, an enterprise orchestration layer for building, deploying, and governing AI. As VP of Global Field Marketing, you will own the in-region and in-person demand engine that converts Dataiku's global positioning into regional pipeline across AMER, EMEA, and APJ regions.
You will lead a team of 25 field marketers accountable for a material share of company pipeline and sit on the marketing leadership team. Your primary mandate is regional sales alignment: generating pipeline and accelerating in-flight deals. Regional sales leaders will look to you for territory-level program design, and you will be measured on pipeline alongside them.
Key responsibilities include:
**Regional Sales Alignment & Pipeline**: Own field-sourced and field-influenced pipeline targets across all regions, jointly accountable with regional sales leadership. Build a joint planning rhythm with each region's sales leadership including territory and account-level programs, QBRs, and shared forecasting. Deploy AI to deliver account research, prospect briefs, meeting prep, and program recommendations to sales in hours rather than weeks.
**Field Marketing Leadership**: Lead and develop three regional teams that adapt global campaigns into credible regional programs while maintaining consistent brand, message, and event experience worldwide. Build a cross-region rhythm of shared playbooks and best practices. Own the field marketing budget across regions, program types, and account tiers, shifting spend based on performance. Use AI to localize campaigns and tailor account-level content without proportional headcount increases. Run account engagement programs including executive roundtables and dinners coordinated with Digital & Growth teams.
**Global Events**: Own the events portfolio and its pipeline contribution, including Dataiku Succeed, regional Summits and Exchanges end-to-end (strategy, audience targets, content, sponsorship, production, on-site experience), plus presence at major ecosystem events like Snowflake Summit, Databricks Data + AI Summit, and AWS re:Invent. Run a tiered event strategy with brand, pipeline, and account targets by tier. Ensure tight sales integration and fast, AI-personalized follow-up on every event. Rationalize the portfolio continuously on ROI data.
**Partner Marketing**: Own partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, integrating partner motions into regional field plans. Work with the Global Partner Organization at leadership level on joint GTM priorities and MDF deployment.
**AI-Powered Execution**: Set the AI standard for the team by defining where it's expected, building enablement, and holding people accountable. Eliminate manual work (briefs, localization, event recaps, list building, reporting) and redirect capacity to sales alignment and account engagement. Build AI into decisions including investment analysis, performance synthesis, and account prioritization.
**Measurement & Operating Discipline**: Set a consistent ROI standard for field and events, using it to reallocate investment regularly. Hold all three regions to a common planning, activation, and follow-up rhythm. Bring pipeline reality to the leadership team, including what's underperforming and why.
The role requires regular travel across all three regions. You will run this function as an AI-native operation, proving that Dataiku's Platform for AI Success works through your own marketing execution.
**Requirements**:
- 10+ years in B2B marketing, including global field marketing leadership in high-growth enterprise software or SaaS, managing 20+ people through regional directors
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
- Named pipeline number carried jointly with sales, not activity metrics
- Ownership of a 1,000+ attendee flagship event and major ecosystem event presence, with budget, sponsorship, and pipeline accountability
- Track record of deploying generative AI in a marketing organization with measurable results; personal fluency and driving team adoption both required
- Peer-level credibility with enterprise sales leaders
- Strong command of tiered event strategy, event ROI, and large-scale event operations
- Hands-on AI fluency, including knowing where it changes the economics of a motion and where it doesn't
- Fluency in CRM, marketing automation, attribution, and ABM to challenge the numbers
- Strong partner instincts or judgment to lead a partner marketing leader well
- Comfortable being measured on the same number as sales
- Urgent about AI adoption; data-driven approach to resource allocation
- Direct and low-ego; able to raise the bar between global marketing and three sales organizations without creating friction
- Willing to make and defend unpopular, data-backed trade-offs
- Builds leaders across regions of uneven maturity
- Enterprise-focused: field and partner marketing serve company pipeline
- Owns outcomes and escalates early with recommendations
- Speaks truth about program and partner performance
- Challenges decisions in the room, then commits fully
