Pair Eyewear seeks a VP of Finance to lead the company through its next growth phase. This senior leadership role reports directly to the CFO/COO and sits on the executive team, responsible for FP&A, Accounting, and Business Systems across a fast-moving, high-growth consumer business.
Key responsibilities include serving as a strategic member of the leadership team contributing to company-wide strategy and decision-making. You will collaborate cross-functionally to translate strategic objectives into concrete operating plans, budgets, and resourcing decisions, while holding leadership accountable for delivering against those plans. You'll act as a trusted advisor to the CFO/COO and co-CEOs on financial and operational implications of major business decisions, and partner on fundraising, M&A, and other strategic initiatives.
In FP&A, you'll own the company's financial planning and analysis function, including annual budgeting, monthly/quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning. You'll build and maintain financial models supporting scenario planning, fundraising, and investment decisions, and deliver monthly and quarterly business reviews with actionable insights into performance against plan. You'll partner with department leaders on headcount planning, capital allocation, and ROI analysis for key initiatives.
You'll oversee the Accounting function, ensuring accurate, timely monthly close, financial reporting, and compliance. You'll maintain strong internal controls, manage relationships with external auditors and banking partners, and ensure the company is audit-ready and positioned to scale its accounting infrastructure.
You'll own the roadmap for finance and business systems (ERP, planning tools, reporting infrastructure), driving process improvement and automation to increase the speed and accuracy of financial data and reporting. You'll partner with Data/Engineering to ensure clean, reliable data flows between systems.
Required: 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership of both FP&A and Accounting functions; experience in high-growth, venture-backed or private equity-backed environments; demonstrated success leading finance organizations through rapid growth and organizational change; track record of partnering with executive leadership on strategy and operating plans; ability to influence company strategy through financial analysis; experience presenting to executives, boards, and investors; deep GAAP accounting knowledge; experience implementing or scaling ERP systems (NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, etc.); excellent communication skills.
Nice to have: consumer products/DTC experience; CPA and/or MBA; experience supporting fundraising, M&A, or strategic finance initiatives; experience building scalable finance infrastructure.
