Thunes is a global fintech platform providing a Direct Global Network for real-time cross-border payments across 140+ countries and 90+ currencies. The company connects to over 12 billion mobile wallets, stablecoin wallets, and bank accounts, plus 15 billion cards via 220+ payment methods. Thunes serves major clients including Uber, Deliveroo, Grab, and WeChat, with offices across 15 global locations. The Senior FP&A Analyst reports directly to the Global Head of FP&A and serves as a key member of the finance team, working with executives, investors, and senior global stakeholders. This is an individual contributor role focused on delivering financial insights, forecasting, and strategic planning to support company growth. Key responsibilities include supporting the annual planning cycle (strategic plan, budget, rolling forecasts); preparing monthly performance reporting for the Board and management against budgets and objectives; building financial models and conducting ROI analysis for new products and M&A opportunities; preparing presentations and analysis for senior stakeholders and investors; developing and streamlining reporting processes; analyzing financial and portfolio data to assess product profitability; supporting internal and external audits; and contributing to ad-hoc finance projects. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of FP&A experience, ideally in financial services, fintech, or regulated businesses. Required skills include strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities, ability to translate data into actionable insights, commercial mindset, excellent stakeholder management, attention to detail, and comfort in ambiguous environments. Expert-level Microsoft Excel proficiency (macros, complex modeling) is essential; experience with AI tools and data visualization platforms (Tableau/Power BI) is advantageous. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field is required; professional certifications (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) are preferred. This person does not need prior people management experience. Occasional travel may be required during planning cycles.
