As Accounting & Reporting Manager, you will lead the accounting and reporting function to ensure accurate, timely, and IFRS-compliant financial reporting as the organization scales. You will manage the Accounting & Reporting team, drive month-end close processes, and partner with stakeholders across the business to capture financial implications of new initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes with IFRS compliance
- Delivering clear financial reporting and presentations to management, the executive board, and investors
- Ensuring compliance with Dutch and international accounting and regulatory requirements
- Managing relationships with local accountants and external auditors
- Improving financial processes, reporting systems, and internal controls to support growth
- Partnering on cross-functional projects to ensure proper financial accounting
- Building and developing the Accounting & Reporting team's capabilities
You bring at least 8 years of experience in financial control and accounting within international companies or Big Four firms. You hold an accounting degree and professional qualification (RA, CPA, or equivalent), with strong IFRS knowledge. You demonstrate excellent leadership skills, hands-on execution ability, and proficiency with automation and AI tools. Strong English communication skills and the ability to balance pragmatic execution with strategic thinking are essential.
This is a hybrid role based in Amsterdam, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. Catawiki values ownership, openness to change, and passion for its mission, operating with a flat structure where every role has broad scope and direct business impact.
