You will own CodeRabbit's growth engine, responsible for finding, converting, and expanding the customer base from individual developers to enterprise teams. This role sits at the intersection of product, sales, developer marketing, demand generation, lifecycle, and analytics.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting growth strategy across product-led growth (PLG) and enterprise motions with clear bets, targets, and operating cadence
- Building a measurable full-funnel engine spanning acquisition, activation, trial conversion, pipeline creation, expansion, and retention
- Leading demand generation across paid, organic, lifecycle, partner, community, and developer channels
- Improving the path from first product interaction to durable team adoption
- Partnering with Product and Engineering on growth experiments, onboarding, pricing, and conversion opportunities
- Partnering with Sales and Customer Success on account-based programs, pipeline quality, and expansion plays
- Building attribution and reporting systems to guide investment decisions
- Hiring and developing a high-performing growth team across performance marketing, lifecycle, operations, and analytics
- Maintaining brand quality while moving quickly in a developer-focused market
Success metrics include: more qualified developers and engineering teams discovering CodeRabbit through repeatable channels, faster trial activation with clearer value communication, meaningful measurable pipeline and expansion revenue contribution, growth decisions grounded in cohort behavior and channel economics, and aligned funnel visibility across Sales, Product, and Marketing.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years in growth or demand-generation leadership, including experience owning a company-level growth number
- Track record scaling B2B SaaS with both self-serve/PLG and sales-assisted motions
- Deep fluency in lifecycle marketing, paid acquisition, conversion-rate optimization, attribution, and growth analytics
- Experience marketing technical products to developers, engineering leaders, or security/IT buyers
- Strong judgment about channel quality and ability to distinguish between attention, intent, and revenue
- Experience building teams and operating systems, not just running campaigns
- Comfort working closely with product, data, sales, customer success, and executive leadership
- Clear writing and bias for concrete claims over generic marketing language
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience in developer tools, AI infrastructure, code quality, security, or modern SDLC
- Experience taking a company from strong product pull to a mature multi-channel revenue engine
- Familiarity with enterprise buying cycles and technical evaluation motions
