Preply is a unicorn edtech platform (Series D, $150M) that connects 100,000+ tutors teaching 90+ languages to learners across 180 countries. The company is building human-led, AI-enhanced learning experiences at global scale.
You will lead the planning, delivery, and optimization of Preply's brand investment across the US market. Reporting to the Sr Director of Brand Strategy, this is a senior, hands-on role with end-to-end ownership of US campaign planning and execution.
Key responsibilities include:
**US Market & Campaign Planning:** Own the annual US brand-campaign plan from business planning through in-market delivery and optimization. Build market- and city-level investment plans, define where and when Preply should invest, and turn brand strategy into clear campaign briefs, channel plans, and timelines. Identify and develop local activation opportunities that build awareness and create learning for future investment.
**Investment & Performance Management:** Manage and optimize US campaign investment across markets, channels, creative, and activations with focus on digital. Establish daily and weekly reporting, forecasting, and decision-making rhythms. Recommend investment shifts based on performance data and learning. Build scalable playbooks for US market execution.
**Measurement & Insight:** Define campaign measurement frameworks with Analytics, Growth, and channel partners. Track brand and campaign outcomes including reach, GMV, LTV, CAC, and CPM, plus downstream business impact. Translate data into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders. Lead post-campaign reviews to inform future planning.
**Cross-Functional Execution:** Partner with Creative, Growth, Analytics, and external agencies to deliver campaigns effectively. Ensure US activity is locally relevant while consistent with Preply's global brand. Own agency and partner relationships. Drive projects with independence, pace, and attention to detail.
This is not a pure media-buying role. You will connect brand strategy to in-market execution, bring strong commercial and analytical judgment, and ensure campaign activity drives meaningful awareness and business outcomes.
**Requirements:**
- 7+ years of experience in brand marketing, integrated digital campaign management, market strategy, or related discipline, ideally in fast-paced tech, consumer, or marketplace environments
- Experience owning significant marketing investment and making investment recommendations
- Strong analytical and commercial skills; confident working with performance data, forecasting, and business plans
- Strong expertise with video platforms (including YouTube) and landing-page or campaign-journey optimization
- Experience planning and delivering integrated campaigns across channels and stakeholders
- Strong understanding of brand measurement and experimentation
- Proven ability to manage agencies, external partners, and complex cross-functional projects
- Excellent communication skills and confidence influencing senior stakeholders
- Highly proactive, independent, and comfortable owning ambiguous work from plan through execution
- Based in the US with strong understanding of US media and consumer landscape
