Galileo is a team-based medical practice transforming healthcare delivery across 50 states, offering high-touch, data-driven, multi-specialty care to complex patients via phone, home visits, and hybrid channels. The company partners with health plans, employers, and Fortune 500 organizations to improve population health outcomes and affordability.
As VP of Commercial Sales for Employers, you will own the full enterprise sales cycle targeting mid-to-large employers (1,000+ employees). You'll develop and execute multi-year account acquisition strategies for your assigned region/vertical, creating diverse pipeline sources through direct outreach, broker/consultant partnerships, and market trigger identification. Your role balances strategic account planning with consultative selling: you'll lead discovery conversations with CFOs, CHROs, and benefits teams to diagnose healthcare challenges, architect custom solutions, and build compelling business cases that survive executive scrutiny.
Key responsibilities include managing complex 12+ month sales processes orchestrating engagement across 5-10 stakeholders with competing priorities; cultivating strategic relationships with benefits consultants, brokers, and industry influencers; delivering consultative solutions that translate clinical outcomes into financial ROI; maintaining disciplined CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting; contributing market intelligence to product, marketing, and leadership teams; and partnering cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Operations, and Client Services throughout the deal lifecycle.
You'll spend significant time on strategy—researching target accounts, mapping stakeholder landscapes, and positioning Galileo competitively. You'll also balance independent pipeline development with intensive collaboration, connecting your work directly to transforming healthcare delivery for working families. The role requires approximately 50% travel.
What makes you stand out: you're a market developer who creates non-traditional pipeline sources and identifies market triggers before competitors; you excel at stakeholder orchestration and can recover deals through re-engagement; you think like a consultant, building business cases that survive CFO scrutiny and designing creative deal structures; you're a collaborator who documents deals comprehensively and brings back field intelligence; and you have an established network of benefits consultants, brokers, or enterprise contacts you can activate.
