Solaris, Europe's leading embedded finance platform, is seeking an Executive Board Advisor (Vorstandsreferent:in) to work at the intersection of strategy, transformation, and execution. Based in Frankfurt with regular presence at the Berlin headquarters, you will directly support the board in driving the company's AI transformation and strategic initiatives. Key responsibilities include: preparing and coordinating board, supervisory board, and shareholder meetings with decision papers and briefings; independently structuring complex strategic questions from hypothesis through analysis to recommendations; steering strategic annual planning, OKR cycles, and board office management routines; accompanying the company-wide transformation to become an AI-native bank; serving as interface between board, Chief of Staff, and business units; processing regulatory implications (EU AI Act, MaRisk, DORA, BAIT) for board decisions; monitoring market, technology, and competitive developments in BaaS, embedded finance, AI, and on-chain finance; leading and coordinating strategic special projects with clear milestones and KPIs; ensuring implementation of board resolutions; building and enhancing board reporting with key metrics and escalation mechanisms; preparing shareholder updates; providing confidential support on operational, personnel, and strategic matters; serving as interface to supervisory board, majority shareholder (SBI Group), and external stakeholders; and maintaining high governance standards. You bring 3–6 years of experience from top-tier strategy consulting (MBB, Tier-1), investment banking, fast-growing fintech, or strategy/transformation roles in regulated banks. A master's degree in business, computer science, law, STEM, or equivalent is expected. Ideally, you have prior experience in an advisor or PMO role close to executive leadership. Deep understanding of banking, regulated financial services, or BaaS—particularly BaFin/ECB regulations—is essential. You demonstrate strong interest in and solid understanding of AI, agentic systems, automation, and digital business models. Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, proficiency with financial metrics and business cases, entrepreneurial mindset, and high quality standards are required. You present confidently to boards, supervisors, shareholders, and external C-level stakeholders. Absolute discretion, loyalty, and integrity with confidential information are non-negotiable. You thrive in dynamic transformation environments, set priorities clearly, and are pragmatic and resilient. Fluent German and English (written and spoken) are mandatory. Comfortable with AI tools, you critically evaluate AI outputs and actively contribute to responsible AI culture.
