Sarvam AI is building India's sovereign AI platform, working across research, models, infrastructure, and applications. The company is backed by Lightspeed, Peak XV, and Khosla Ventures, and partners with leading Indian enterprises including Tata Capital, SBI Life, CRED, IDFC, and LIC.
As a Visual Designer, you will translate Sarvam's brand identity—rooted in mandala geometry and a vibrant blue-to-orange palette—across all customer touchpoints. Your work will span launch banners, web sections, product surfaces, films, decks, event installations, and emerging channels. This role is about building the visual argument for what Indian design looks like at population scale, not decorating an AI company.
Key responsibilities include: executing the brand system consistently across diverse contexts (model-launch banners, developer docs, enterprise collateral) while adapting to each communication's unique argument; pushing the brand into new expressions that stay unmistakably Sarvam while earning distinct character; integrating AI tools as a first-class part of your creative workflow for generation, iteration, and refinement; and creating motion and animated assets for web and launch films.
You bring 3+ years of communication design experience (in-house or studio) with a portfolio demonstrating range across real surfaces. You have serious fundamentals in typography, hierarchy, grid, space, and color. Figma expertise is non-negotiable (components, variables, auto-layout, libraries). You work at depth in Photoshop and Illustrator, and can ship motion in After Effects independently. You have native fluency with AI design tools and a clear perspective on their professional application. You can extend brand systems beyond guidelines, not just execute within them. You care deeply about the Indian design ecosystem and want to push it forward.
Bonus skills include 3D/rendering, generative or code-based design (Blender, TouchDesigner, p5, shaders), Indic typography (Devanagari, Tamil, Bengali, Kannada), editorial design, or end-to-end brand extension experience.
