Scopely, a leading mobile games publisher behind Pokémon GO, MONOPOLY GO!, and other major titles, is seeking a Senior Motion Designer to join Flamed, its in-house creative agency, in Barcelona on a hybrid basis.
You will own and deliver high-quality motion design projects across Scopely's diverse game portfolio, translating creative briefs into compelling visual solutions from art direction through final delivery. Working within a multidisciplinary international team, you'll support multiple titles including Pokémon GO, Monster Hunter Now, and Pikmin Bloom, producing thousands of creatives annually to meet global marketing needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering motion design projects with expert-level quality
- Building impactful brand identities for games and driving top-performing marketing results
- Collaborating with creative teams on brainstorming, ideation, storyboards, and animatics
- Staying current with pop culture trends across social media, design, film, and TV
- Working with meticulous attention to detail in a collaborative, feedback-driven environment
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of motion graphic design experience in advertising or entertainment marketing
- Expert-level demo reel showcasing motion design and animation capabilities
- Proficiency in After Effects, Cinema 4D, Octane Render, Premiere, and Photoshop
- Experience with video editing, color grading, and sound design
- Strong art direction, storytelling, and visual design skills
- Passion for mobile games and collaborative creative excellence
- Fluent English communication
Bonus skills include Unreal Engine experience for cinematic renders, Unity knowledge, expertise in social media and performance marketing creatives, and familiarity with AI-assisted design tools.
