1Mind is building Autonomous Customer Experience software—a new category of enterprise platform that deploys AI agents ("Superhumans") to engage buyers across the entire customer journey with continuous memory, handling demos, onboarding, and support via voice and chat.
As Lead Product Designer, you'll own the design of buyer-facing experiences, the internal Console, AI-assisted workflows, and the systems connecting them. This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role focused on solving novel interaction design problems: how users understand and guide autonomous AI agents, when the AI should act versus ask, how to expose control without overwhelming users, and how to make sophisticated configuration feel approachable.
You'll work end-to-end from problem framing through research, interaction design, prototyping, implementation, and iteration. Key responsibilities include designing new human-AI collaboration patterns, simplifying complex B2B workflows (configuration, integrations, multi-step processes, permissions), shaping both customer-facing and internal admin experiences, and partnering closely with Product and Engineering from the earliest stages. You'll prototype early using Figma, AI tools, and code-based prototyping; run customer research and usability sessions directly; move between systems-level thinking and detailed visual design; stay involved through implementation and design QA; evolve the design system as the product scales; and use data and feedback to validate shipped experiences.
Required: 8+ years of product design experience, ideally in complex B2B SaaS or sophisticated digital products. Your portfolio should demonstrate exceptional interaction and visual craft. You need experience simplifying complex workflows, configuration-heavy products, admin experiences, or data-rich interfaces. Strong product judgment is essential—you should be able to help define what gets built, not just execute predetermined features. You're comfortable moving from ambiguous problems to concrete interaction models without full upfront requirements. You can run your own usability research and talk directly with customers. You have strong systems thinking, a bias toward prototyping and tangible ideas, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to partner deeply with engineers while understanding technical constraints.
Preferred: Experience designing AI-native or agentic products (especially around trust, control, automation, and human-AI collaboration); early-stage or high-growth startup experience; complex enterprise software, workflow tools, or configurable platforms; fluency with modern AI and code-based prototyping tools (v0, Lovable, Figma Make, Cursor, Claude Code); design system evolution while shipping product; exposure to revenue or go-to-market technology.
